Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are among the most common bacterial that cause by both gram-negative and gram-positive microorganisms. The article is devoted to a review of literature, clinical guidelines recommendations about discussion UTI management. classifications different medical societies presented in manuscript. modern views on problem uncomplicated cystitis – its rate, factors occurrence, latest for diagnostic assessment described. therapeutic approaches treatment presented, based advisability prescribing antimicrobial therapy, advantages demonstrated. schemes use therapy men women given. first-line fosfomycin trometamol. presents pharmacological properties fosfomycin, indications features use, interactions with other drugs types interactions, advantages, prescription regimens, courses doses, pathology genital urinary systems pregnant women. Alternative also presented. concept “recurrent UTI” set. persistent intermittent prophylaxis recurrent UTIs described according European Association Urology 2021. Strategies such as management programs improve outcomes, reduce adverse effects risk developing resistance, provide effective treatment.
